JoshRun Team operates joshrun.com and joshrun.in and provides virtual running, cycling and walking challenges across India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

When you register for a challenge or create an account, we collect:

• Full name, age, gender
• Mobile number and email address
• Shipping address (only for physical medal packages)
• T-shirt size (only if you opt for a t-shirt)
• Activity proof — screenshots or images uploaded by you (e.g. Strava, Google Fit, watch data)
• Payment reference IDs from Razorpay (we do not store card / UPI details)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To register you in the selected challenge and verify your proof
• To ship your medal, t-shirt or other rewards
• To send your e-certificate and event communication over email or WhatsApp
• To respond to your queries and provide customer support
• To improve our events, website performance and user experience

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI, wallet and net-banking details are handled entirely by Razorpay under their PCI-DSS compliant systems. JoshRun never sees or stores your payment credentials.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Limited data is shared only with:

• Razorpay — for payment processing
• Our courier partner — name, address and mobile, only for medal / t-shirt delivery
• Email / WhatsApp providers — to deliver certificates and event updates

5. Cookies & Analytics

 No personally identifiable information is sold to advertisers.

6. Data Security

All data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled servers with strict role-based access. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

7. Your Rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. Note that some data (registration & payment records) must be retained under applicable tax and finance laws.

8. Children

JoshRun is not directed at children under 8. Participants under 18 must register under a parent or guardian.

9. Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the latest version.
